I took this picture 2 years ago. I was broken, hurt, and full of grief. My jaw would hurt at the end of the day from forcing myself to smile while around people. All I wanted was to be numb-so I wouldn’t have to feel anything anymore.
Fast forward to today. I have joy. I have peace. I’m so thankful to embrace my emotions. To feel is beautiful. I’m so thankful God heals.
The journey has been and is still is rough, but to make it through is possible.
To whoever needed to read this, just know it all works out in the end. It’s easy to give up, but it’s so worth it to keep fighting. Continue to trust in God. Much love.
